Josh Lane, known as ‘The Diamond Man’, is a 33 year old who owns Lanes Jewellery, a business based in Norfolk selling fine jewellery, with a speciality in diamond pieces.
Their story started in 1981 by Josh’s Dad, and we discuss Josh’s journey from watching his father make bespoke items as a child, and after nearly 20 years on from his Diamond training in Antwerp, purchasing the family business.
We discuss high value 6 figure items, the prices surrounding Gold, Platinum and Rolex’s, plus Josh doing a 7 figure deal in a car park.
With Lanes’ expansion plans into a larger building next door, it’s clear to see his vision for growth.
Josh opens up about the hard challenges of dealing with perfectionism, balancing being a business owner with his 2 year old son and how stress can quite literally put you in hospital, which happened to Josh just 2 weeks before his son Aster was born.
